African Child Press operates with a new and innovative publishing model that seeks to connect the long ignored core intellectual needs of the African child with the strong convictions of interested and empowered entities and individuals across the world.
African Child Press partners with governments, development partners, private entities, corporations, communities and concerned individuals in the production and distribution of books and online resources. Languages on the brink of extinction or lacking in intellectual materials can be revived or reinvigorated through production partnerships. Through distribution partnerships, local language books and resources can be made more widely available.
Partnership can begin at the production stage and end at the distribution stage, or can occur anywhere in-between.
- Production Partnership
Interested parties can partner with African Child Press in the production of books and resources in any African language of choice. This is a necessary first step for languages without published works in the African Child Press catalogue. Production can begin at any stage, including the organization of orthography conferences and/or workshops. Interested parties may use the contact form to request more information on production partnership opportunities.
- School(s)/Libraries Partnership
Interested parties can partner with African Child Press to make local language books available to schools and libraries in any part of Africa. This can be done by putting in a request for already published books in the African Child Press catalogue to be made available to these institutions. Interested parties may use the contact form to request more information on school/library partnership opportunities.
- Digital Resource Partnership
Interested parties can partner with African Child Press in the production of online resources in any African language of choice.
